1. SaveinCloud Anti-Spam Policies

For the purposes of this document, “policy” should be understood as a set of measures aimed at achieving a specific goal. The goal pursued by SaveinCloud is to combat the practice of SPAM, as stated in the “ANTI-SPAM COMMITMENT”. The measures adopted are divided into:

2. SaveInCloud's Anti-Spam Commitment and That of Its Clients

SaveInCloud, in line with the best Internet practices and the most influential non-governmental Internet organizations, and responding to the appeal of its users, publicly declares its anti-spam commitment. Through this commitment, SaveInCloud undertakes to hinder, by all means within its reach, the practice of SPAM and to publicize its repudiation of this practice, as well as its purpose of preventing its clients from engaging in it.

In return, anyone who becomes a SaveInCloud client fully and unconditionally accepts, automatically, by the mere act of contracting any service provided by SaveInCloud, the commitment NOT TO PRACTICE SPAM IN ANY OF ITS FORMS OR MANIFESTATIONS.

Thus, all SaveInCloud clients are required to follow the anti-spam policy, taking responsibility for complying with the rule of not practicing SPAM under any circumstances and under no pretext.

IF THE SENDING OF SPAM BY ANY CLIENT IS VERIFIED, THEIR WEBSITE WILL BE TAKEN OFFLINE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS SET FORTH IN THE RESPECTIVE CONTRACT, WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO ANY OTHER APPLICABLE MEASURES.

SaveInCloud clients are prohibited from receiving more than 10% (ten percent) of bounced emails, unless another limit has been expressly established in the contract signed with the client, in which case the contractually established limit shall prevail.

A “bounced email” is understood to be any type of error that prevents the delivery of the message to its recipient.

One of the most common errors is a non-existent destination mailbox.

Therefore, if a SaveInCloud client receives a percentage of emails higher than the 10% specified above, SaveInCloud will presume that the client is engaging in the practice of SPAM.

The email address for reporting SPAM that may have been practiced by a SaveInCloud client is [email protected].

THIS IS THE ANTI-SPAM COMMITMENT OF SAVEINCLOUD AND ITS CLIENTS. COMPLY WITH IT AND ENSURE THAT IT IS COMPLIED WITH, FOR THE SAKE OF A BETTER INTERNET.

3. Basic information on the characterization of spam practices

3.1. What is SPAM?

Objectively, for the purposes of this commitment, SPAM can be defined as the sending of emails and/or any other type of electronic message that generates complaints from any recipient and/or from any organization and/or individual responsible for combating and suppressing the practice of SPAM.

SPAM is not a viable advertising method. Although it may be very tempting to use it as a promotional tool, it is forcing the entire Internet to change email usage regulations and to increase restrictions and penalties against companies that practice SPAM. It is also important to always report SPAM, as it is a harmful practice for the Internet, and only through reporting can we combat it.

3.2. Why is SPAM a problem?

The Internet is currently an extremely dynamic, complex environment filled with information. Email is one of the components of the Internet and, nowadays, it is one of the main means of communication within it.

However, this means of communication has been increasingly degraded by the high volume of emails-not only advertisements, but also jokes or any other type of email sent indiscriminately, without having been requested by the recipient. This is SPAM. This degradation results in excessive use of storage space for messages, overload of servers that manage and transmit emails, overload of communication networks, and more.

In addition, unsolicited emails are increasingly ignored by recipients, who often come to reject the companies that send them. Thus, even from a commercial perspective, SPAM is becoming something highly inadvisable.

5. Active Registration Confirmation

The ideal way to carry out any type of registration to validate the receipt of emails is through a process referred to here as “Active Registration Confirmation.” It is based on requiring an explicit request from a visitor to be included in your mailing list, thus ensuring that you have their consent to receive future communications.

This technique is particularly useful [...] (full text of item 5 continues until the end).

6. How to implement active confirmation?

Important: This process does not guarantee that you will not be accused of SPAM, but it demonstrates good faith and transparency.

WARNING: If a SPAM complaint is reported against any client, the deactivation of the email list used may be imposed.

7. Jurisdiction
